Biographie

Trained as an architect, I’m currently a lecturer at the Université libre de Bruxelles and researcher at the Department of Cultural Anthropology and History at the AfricaMuseum in Belgium. My research questions the coloniality at work in processes of ‘patrimonialisation’. Drawing on several fields of study (provenance research, museum ethnography and restitution among others), I am interested in the forms of resistance that emerge in the interstices of dominant socio-political affiliations.
