Katia Kukawka

Biographie

Katia Kukawka, trained as an anthropologist, is Chief Heritage Curator. She is currently Deputy Director of the Musée d’Aquitaine (Bordeaux), in charge of collections and memory. Previously based in French Guiana, she initiated a participatory heritage inventory project in Awala-Yalimapo, developed a cross-border cooperation program, and led the drafting of the scientific and cultural project for the Maison des cultures et des mémoires de la Guyane (MCMG).
