Biographie

Hélène Ivanoff is a historian and art historian with an agrégation and a PhD in History and Civilizations from EHESS (Paris). She specializes in artistic and cultural exchanges between France and Germany.

She works as an independent provenance researcher for museums and private clients, focusing on cultural objects looted during the Second World War and/or originating from colonial contexts.

She has acted as an expert on cultural property restitution claims and has published several works on the art market and the history of ethnology.
